Quality Analysis¶
Quality Analysis groups bad production by the quality reason recorded against it, so you can break losses down by cause and cost, not only count them. It does for rejected units what Downtime Analysis does for stoppages.
Using Quality Analysis¶
Open Quality > Analysis.
- Choose the Station Groups and Stations. You can also limit the analysis to one Shift and one SKU.
- Choose the Range Type (day, week, month, quarter, relative or custom) and the Range.
- Select Submit.
The table groups bad units by parent quality reason. Expand a parent to see the reasons under it. Each row shows:
- Bad Count: the Bad count recorded against the reason.
- Cost: the Quality cost of those units. Select Cost (£) above the table to show this column.
Bad production recorded without a reason is grouped as Unknown. A reason code that is not, or no longer, configured on your account is still recorded, and is shown as the code itself.
Click a column heading to sort by it. You can download the table as CSV.

Before you start¶
- Quality reasons are reasons of type Quality, managed in Reasons.
- Operators can record bad units in the Operator Interface only on stations with Allow Rejecting Production turned on. See Station.
- How reasons are attached to bad units, from the Operator Interface or from a device, is described in Quality › Connect.
