Plant¶
A plant is a site. Its timezone and day start set the time for all the data from its stations: shifts, schedules, OEE and reports. If you have more than one site, give each plant a clear, unique name. Go to Admin > Plant.

Start Hour for Day¶
For many plants, midnight is not the end of the day. If a night shift runs until 03:00, production made before 03:00 belongs to the previous day. Set the start hour to 3, and Busroot uses 03:00 as the day boundary in every report and dashboard.
For example, with a start hour of 3, the data for 2025-12-25 covers 2025-12-25 03:00 to 2025-12-26 03:00.
Take care when you change this or the Week Start Day on a plant that already has data, because the boundaries of past reporting periods move too.
Feature Flags¶
The Feature Flags panel sets flags for every station in the plant. Each flag is Inherit, On or Off. See Feature flags.
Energy Metering¶
If the plant has its own energy meter, such as an incomer that measures the whole site, choose it here. The plant's energy then comes from that meter instead of the sum of its stations. See Energy Efficiency.
The options are the plant's Meter Only stations. The panel only appears when the plant has one. See Meter Only.
