Capabilities¶
Capabilities are what Busroot does for you. Each one answers a question a production manager asks, and owns the metrics that measure it. Every capability page explains what the capability is, how it works and how to set it up, then lists the tools where you see it and defines its metrics.

Is each asset working?
How much of the time each asset is productive, and when it sits idle.

Why did we stop?
Stops detected automatically, with the reason and what each stop cost.

How much have we made?
What has been made, of which SKU, compared with the target in real time.

How close are we to full potential?
Availability, performance and quality, and where the loss is.

What did we reject, and why?
Rejected units recorded against a reason, broken down by cause and cost.

What does each unit cost in energy?
The energy each station and each unit uses, and the energy wasted when nothing is scheduled.

Are we running to plan?
Production and maintenance planned for each station, and what ran compared with the plan.

Were the checks done?
Checklists and SOPs completed at the station, with a record of every completed and missed Task.
