Users

The User Management page shows everyone who can use your Busroot account and their role. Go to Admin > User.

Add a user

People with an email address on your company's own domain don't need to be added. They go to the login page, enter their work email and click the link in the email Busroot sends. They then appear in User Management with the Read Only role. An Admin can then give them another role.

Someone with a different domain, such as a consultant or contractor, has to be added for you. Output Industries staff have an Add User button on the User Management page, which takes the person's email address and role. Only that exact address gets access, not everyone on its domain. To have someone added this way, contact support.

Change a user's role

Edit the user and choose a new role. The user must log out and log in again before the new role takes effect.

Remove a user

To stop someone using Busroot, set their role to Blocked. They stay in the list, keep their history, and can be given a role again later. Use this for anyone on your company's own domain.

Output Industries staff also have a Delete action. It removes the person from Busroot completely, not only from your account. It is permanent, and it also removes the notes they wrote and the API keys they created. It is meant for a consultant or contractor who should no longer have any access. Deleting someone on your company's own domain does not keep them out: they can log in again straight away and come back as Read Only. Block them instead. To have someone deleted, contact support.
