Connect

Connect tools connect your shop floor to Busroot. Machine connectors and energy meters send signals from your machines over the shop floor network, and operator screens give people at the station a way in. To connect your own systems to Busroot, see Developers.

  • Installation guide: plan a site installation, with power, mounting, tools and the order of work.
  • Machine connectors: micro PLCs and sensors that connect any machine, old or new, with or without its own PLC.
  • Energy meters: single-phase and three-phase meters that measure the energy each machine uses.
  • Shop floor network: connect devices over your site's Wi-Fi, or over a dedicated wireless network with 4G gateway routers.
  • Operator screens and displays: any device with a modern web browser, running the Operator Interface or a shop floor display.
  • MQTT: the station signals that machine connectors and other devices send to Busroot, and how to send them.
  • Range codes: named time ranges, such as today or the last 72 hours, used to select data.
